A GENEROUS £750 grant from Benderloch-based Scottish Sea Farms is helping pupils of an Oban primary school experience a trip they might otherwise not have enjoyed.
St Columba’s Primary School plans excursions for its senior pupils every September. This year the primary sixes will spend three days camping with Stramash on Kerrera, while primary sevens will visit Glasgow for three days.
Both trips cost £150 per child and the donation from Scottish Sea Farms will mean some children who might not have been able to go because of family financial constraints can sign up.
