THE ARGYLL and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is planning a review of its community mental health service to ensure it continues to provide effective and efficient services for local people.
Gillian Davies, consultant nurse for mental health, who will be leading the review, said: ‘It is essential that we continually review these [community mental health services] on a regular basis to ensure they are providing the right level of care for those people who use the services.
‘Over the coming months, we will be working with stakeholders, practitioners, service users, carers, elected members and our wider communities to gather views and suggestions to help us further improve our community mental health services. I would encourage as many people as possible to take part.’
