Rockfield Centre is loving its volunteers

Love is certainly in the air this Valentine’s Day as the Rockfield Centre pays tribute to the people who give up their time to help out in their busy community charity shop.

Connections officer Emily Firth told us: ‘The shop, staffed by our wonderful volunteers, is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm and visitors are always greeted with a cheery smile. ‘As well as finding hidden treasures in our well-stocked shop, our customers also enjoy a blether and some friendly banter, and usually go away with a smile on their faces. ‘We really do love our volunteers here at the Rockfield Centre.’
