Sarah Holroyd, front row right, and Ann Winning, far right, and the rest of the jubilant Scottish team at Crufts.
THE long trip south to Birmingham NEC for last week’s Crufts dog show certainly proved worthwhile for several of the Lochaber contingent of canine enthusiasts who made the journey. One of the most popular results was last Thursday’s third place for the Scottish team in the Rally Obedience Inter-regional Competition.
With the assistant manager being Ballachulish resident Sarah Holroyd, for the second year running, and Glencoe’s Ann Winning and her Cavalier King Charles spaniel Rowan (Narayden Black Coffee) waiting in the wings as a reserve member, it made for compulsive viewing of Crufts television coverage.
