Concern has been voiced by Councillor Julie McKenzie about a lack of care at Ganavan, where the swings have been removed and where she says there is a problem with dog fouling and litter.

Ron Ireland:‘I’m out there most days with two dogs and always pick up their mess, sadly many people don’t seem to bother. I’d be wary of letting any children run about freely in case they got covered in dog muck. As for the litter, it’s totally incomprehensible why people do it.
