Tanuilt summer ceilidh success

TAYNUILT summer ceilidh on August 6 had a good blend of youth and experience.

Piper Aaron Hossain provided some rousing tunes, the Isla Sinclair Dancers (Katie Mac-Donald and Niamh Cameron) performed excellent highland dancing displays, soloists Lori Den Heijer, Janet Fergusson and Freddy MacKenzie delighted an appreciative audience with enjoyable choral performances, while father and son team of Derek McLeish (flute) and Ross McLeish (fiddle and song), plus accordionist Alasdair MacDonald produced a feast of toe-tapping music.
