This year marks 100 years since the River Leven Prisoner of War (PoW) Camp and the Caolasnacon Conscientious Objector Camp opened near Kinlochleven, writes Katie Carabine.
A group of five people came together to form a commemoration group to hold an event to mark this centenary on Saturday (August 13).
The centenary event began with a performance of a moving First World War-themed play, Home Fires, Broken Sons by Argyll Theatre Company, Three Wee Crows.
