The shortlist

Now it is up to the general public to vote for who they think should play at Oban Live this June. Here is your shortlist:

Hailing from Argyll, Rhuvaal are a young folk-based traditional band consisting of five members. Playing modern traditional music with a variety of instruments and songs, they have built up a solid following in Kintyre, Oban and Lorn.

As well as playing in a group, the band work diligently as solo musicians to be the best they can be while finding their own sound. They play local west coast tunes, music and folk songs from all over Scotland and other Celtic countries, as well as a lot of original compositions and songs.
