Dunbeg man fined over double assault

A DUNBEG man had been found guilty of assaulting a 75-year-old man and his grandson, after a trial at Oban Sheriff Court, where he was fined £850.

Jamie MacDonald, 23, of 59 Lochnell Road, Dunbeg, pleaded not guilty to assaulting David Black at the same address on May 19, by seizing his body, attempting to remove him from a vehicle, and repeatedly striking him on the head.
