10-pin bowling
AFTER week three of the Lochaber Building Supplies 10-pin bowling leagues at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, only one team, Alleycats, has the maximum 15 points in the scratch division followed by British Legion Fort William on 13 points and The Shambowls on 10 points. In the handicap division, Alleycats stay on top with 12 points followed by British Legion Fort William on 11 points and The Shambowls on eight points.
Individually, the best game in week two was a superb 225 from Pam Weller (Alleycats), the season’s high, which contained a run of four strikes in a row and another run of three strikes in a row. Pam also had the top handicap game of 249 and the top scratch twogame scratch series of 386 (both season’s highs). Wendy Brooke (The Shambowls) had the top two-game handicap series of 453 (the season’s high).
