Journeys launched at the Rockfield Centre

JOURNEYS to the Little Bay – An-t-Òban is the Rockfield Centre’s latest Heritage Lottery- funded oral history project which follows the successful interviews and events project ‘Memories Matter’ in 2016.

Oban Communities Trust has employed a part-time heritage officer, Jamie Yates, who will co-ordinate the Heritage Hunters volunteer group in delivering this project over coming months.

Mr Yates said: ‘A series of interviews will be conducted with current and former Oban residents to find out more about their lives and what brought them here, be it family ties, employment or otherwise.
