THE LOCHALSH branch of Legion Scotland continues to raise funds at bingo sessions at Balmacara House. The latest event raised £171. The branch recently donated £500 to Erskine hospital. The next bingo evening is on Wednesday October 11.

THE LOCHALSH branch of the Scottish Women’s Institute held a social evening in Achmore Hall on September 7. Douglas Strachan from Breakish showed a film of his visit to Nepal where he took part in a marathon. Musical entertainment was provided by his wife Mary.
