A BUS route is to be re-instated after a community council voiced concerns to Lochaber Transport Forum.
The September meeting of Spean Bridge, Roy Bridge and Achnacarry Community Council heard that chairman John Fotheringham had raised concerns over changes to the number 41 Stagecoach service which meant it no longer went to the bus station. This was adversely affecting elderly shoppers and tourists visiting Aonach Mor.
Highland Council’s Community Transport representative had apologised as it had been an administrative error and said it would be re-instated on Monday October 2. The delay was due to a 42-day registration period with Traffic Commissioners.
