THE NUMBER of people using council swimming pools, gyms and libraries in Argyll and Bute has exceeded all targets.
The largest increase was in library services - 593 visits were made between April to June against a target of 360 – a rise of almost 40 per cent.
For the same quarter, 93,194 visits were made to council swimming pools - 20 per cent above the 75,000 target, and 28,245 visits were made to gyms.
