TEN SCOTTISH seaside spots have seen a significant increase in the number of holiday enquiries this year, according to a holiday website, and Oban is leading the way with a 30 per cent increase in enquiries.
New data from www.holidaylettings.co.uk, which is owned by travel giant TripAdvisor, shows that in 2016 a number of coastal locations saw a spike in demand, with Oban among the top ten.
Jack Johnson, spokesperson for holidaylettings.co.uk, said that a growing number of travellers had taken a trip to the Scottish seaside this year.
