OBAN police officers have asked motorists to remember to drive ‘slow or dead slow’ when they pass horses on the road.
Officers highlighted, in particular, the singletrack road that leads from Benderloch to South Shian.
Inspector Julie McLeish at Oban police office said: ‘More than 60 per cent of incidents involving horses on the roads occur between 10am and 3pm, with June being the most common month.
