OBAN and Tobermory lifeboats joined forces this week after two divers surfaced from a rapid ascent from 20 metres.
RNLI Lifeboat Mora Edith MacDonald was tasked by Stornoway Coastguard to attend the divers being taken on board Tobermory Lifeboat Elizabeth Fairlie Ramsey.
The incident occurred shortly after 1pm on Tuesday May 3 and by 2pm the divers were safely transferred to Oban lifeboat and were then met by ambulance in Oban which delivered them to Oban, Lorn and the Isles Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
