There were no empty seats at the Hope Kitchen fashion show on Friday last week. M&Co in Oban was packed with people eager to see the models on the runway at the charity event. Lorraine McCormick, manager at Hope Kitchen, said the event was a great success, raising £365 which will provide Christmas food parcels and presents to the families and children it supports. Any remaining money will be spent on Hope Kitchen’s new premises. Several businesses, including Tesco, M&Co and Oban Distillery, donated money. The event was so successful that Hope Kitchen is already thinking about having another fashion show next Christmas.
