TRANSPORT Scotland has awarded a £3.4 million contract for ground investigations as part of the work to upgrade the A82 route along the side of Loch Lomond between Tarbet and Inverarnan.
Transport Scotland has announced the intention to give Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited the contract, subject to completion of the mandatory standstill period.
The work is scheduled to start in March and is expected to take 18 weeks.
