10-pin bowling
AFTER week 13 of the Lochaber Building Supplies 10- pin bowling leagues, with one week to go at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, Alleycats still lead the scratch division with 59 points followed by The Empire on 55 points. Council move into third place with 41 points. Alleycats remain in the lead of the handicap division with 50 points despite losing 5-0 to second placed British Legion Fort William who now have 45 points. Council move into third place with 38 points.
Individually, the best scratch game of the week came from Gary Cowan (The Empire) with a 181. Also Iain Gregor (British Legion Fort William) had a 179. Iain Gregor also had the top two-game scratch series of 340, the top handicap game of 239 and the top two-game handicap series of 460.
