A JOINT working group’s visit to a closed smelter in Wales could bring new hope for a Lochaber site.
The group visited the site at Anglesey last week to look at how land around a smelter could be used.
Brian King, general manager of Lochaber Smelter, Thomas MacLennan, councillor for Fort William and Ardnamurchan, and Lesley Benfield, chief executive of Lochaber Chamber of Commerce made the trip.
