Pacenotes Rally magazine Issue 183 - Nov 2019 Back Issue

The November edition (183) of Pacenotes Rally Magazine is now on sale!

Our latest issue pays tribute to the Darrian in its many forms. It's safe to say that the potent rally car functions as a barometer of your interest in rallying. In other words, if you get why these quirky Welsh featherweights are so respected both in their homeland and further afield, there’s a good chance you’ve spent time stage side!

It’s only fitting, therefore, that we have an extensive, in-depth feature on the manufacturer that includes a handful of powerful Darrians, each representing a significant step in the half-a-century evolution of these fearsome tarmac-eaters.

The Toyota KP Starlet is another of those ever so slightly left field rally cars, albeit one with a passionate cult following – and for a very good reason. We take a look at the freshly rebuilt KP belonging to the Moffett family in this issue’s 'In My Garage' and find out why it has scalped many an unwary Mk2 Escort driver over the years, both on the lanes threading through the family's native County Monaghan and further afield.

Last month’s Wales Rally GB saw the final, top-tier competitive outing for one of international rallying’s most beloved personalities - Petter Solberg. The beaming Norwegian with the sunny disposition and massive reserves of fearsome talent is the star of Martin Holmes’ monthly column and it’s a must read for anyone who has followed the career of the 2003 WRC Champ.

The latest issue is stuffed with guest columns espousing a wide variety of rallying viewpoints, including Martin Holmes and his recollections of Audi’s epoch defining Quattro, the thoughts of WRC Live’s Becs Williams as well as Irish rallying guru Sammy Hamill, plus a look back at the career of everyone’s favourite GM F2 weapon, the Astra Mk4.

We also bring you coverage of Wales Rally GB, Mull, ADGESPEED, the Cheviot and Tyrone Stages, RSA Mondello, the Trackrod Rally and many, many others.
