Patchwork and Quilting  |  May 2015
We have so many lovely projects for you this month not least For Your Love, which features a pretty floral collection from Makower. And talking of pretty, Pretty in Pink is a great pieced quilt, which only uses two main fabrics. If you have always wondered about having a go at stenciling on fabric then the Black & White Cushions are for you. Retro-vintage is very much on trend at the moment especially with younger members, so Belle Bébé Antique Cot Quilt would be a very welcome gift for any new arrivals in the family. The Make a Wish Quilt showcases the delicate colours of the latest collection from Lewis & Irene and we also make a different Dresden Plate block in this month’s Heart Song block. Within our features we follow Susan Briscoe on her search for Koginzashi in Japan and closer to home we take a glimpse at the new exhibition – Hatched, Matched, Dispatched & Patched! at the American Museum in Britain, plus we learn more about Young Quilters in our monthly series from the Quilters' Guild.
