MASTER NATURAL LIGHT
Photography is all about the exposure of a light-sensitive surface to light and there are really only two types of light. First off, there’s man-made light, which comes in the form of a flash or LED unit, for example. This can be used to create a source of light that’s completely customisable, and it can be employed to provide illumination even in situations that would otherwise make photography impossible. It can be shaped and controlled in a very nuanced way, but even in the hands of a skilled practitioner it can sometimes look a little unsubtle. This is rarely a problem with the other type of light, natural light. This is the ambient light that’s around us from the moment the Sun comes up in the morning until it sets again in the evening and although many people often take this light for granted, neglecting to notice its charms, it can frequently provide ideal illumination for stunning photography.
