Seneca’s chief investment officer Peter Elston made national headlines recently by posing the question: is a computer going to steal my job?

Elston cited three high-profile cases where computers have beaten human brain power at traditional games: chess in 1996; the Chinese board game Go in 2015; and, most recently in January, artificial intelligence emerged victorious at poker.
