THE Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SRPS) has announced the resumption of its railtours operation after being put on ice due to Covid-19.
The new programme is due to kick off on Saturday, July 10 with an excursion from Dunfermline Town to Scarborough – with York as an optional. Pick-ups are Glenrothes with Thornton, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay, Dalmeny, Edinburgh Waverley, Drem and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Details of the locomotive remained to be confirmed as this issue went to press.
