Normal Edinburgh Trams service resumes
EDINBURGH Trams ran a normal service for the first time in almost 16 months on June 7 as Covid-19 restrictions eased. Ticket inspections have resumed. Penalty fares of £10 will be issued to those travelling without avalid ticket.
Tram option for Poulton-le-Fylde
THE former Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde railway cou Id be reopened either as an extension of the Blackpool tram network, a hybrid tram-train route, or as a conventional rail link. The three options are included in a business case prepared for Lancashire County Council.
