The Churnet Valley Railway (CVR) resumed operations on July 10, having not run since the second Covid-19 lockdown.
Among the enhancements carried out is a facelift of Froghall station, improving its 1950s ambience.
The interior has been redecorated and all lighting enhanced.
The booking office and tearoom have been made more inviting places to sit and take in the atmosphere, with an increase in the number of railway-themed artefacts on display around the whole building from the CVR supporting charity, the North Staffordshire Railway Company (1978) Ltd archive collection.
