The dive-under north of Peterborough, being built to allow trains using the ‘Joint Line’ to/from Doncaster via Lincoln to go underneath the East Coast Main Line, has been laid with track and was connected to the network on July 17/18. This view, looking south on July 17, shows DMU No. 158777 heading towards Peterborough on the ECML with the 1L15/15.52 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich, while two GBRf-powered engineering trains work around the dive-under’s connection to the Stamford/Anglia lines.
