EAST Somerset Railway-based Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST Lady Nan (1719/1920) has been stripped at Cranmore after it developed a hole in the main steam pipe. In order to remove it, the cab and tank had to be lifted and the smokebox stripped. A new steam pipe is being made at Cranmore and the two smokebox steam pipes will be repaired at the same time. The locomotive is pictured on August 15.
