LLANGOLLEN Railway Trust’s (LRT) new Corwen station project has been aided by a £200,000 grant, which will go towards the cost of the canopy. The money forms part of a successful £15 million Levelling Up Fund Bid for Clwyd South, sponsored by Simon Baynes MP and developed by two neighbouring local authorities, Wrexham County Borough Council and Denbighshire County Council.
