Facelift for Crawley station

CRAWLEY station is to undergo the first phase of a major facelift which will give visitors to the town a much brighter welcome. The booking office area will be transformed, with the ticket gates moved and the area decluttered. New glazing will be installed to brighten up the concourse, plus there will be work to improve the toilets and a longer London-bound platform canopy to keep the rain off. A temporary station building in the car park has been brought into use while the project’s first phase is underway.
