OUR December photo by Vic Smith (below), was taken in March 2023, and showed two hopper wagons from the closed narrow gauge Crickheath Tramway at Llynclys, Shropshire, at the point where it crossed over the Cambrian Railways main line between Oswestry and Welshpool (now part of Cambrian Heritage Railways).
The tramway connected nearby quarries to part of the Montgomery Canal at Crickheath Wharf from the 1820s to 1913.
For our first quiz of 2024 (above, by Paul Griffin), at what station can you find this running in board. The clue is it is not Camelford!
