THE late Adrian Shooter’s Beeches Light Railway was auctioned on June 21 at his Steeple Aston home near Banbury, where the Darjeeling Tank Locomotive Trust (DTLT) was successful in its bid to secure Sharp Stewart B Class 0-4-0ST No. 19B, which was built in 1889 for the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. The trust was also able to acquire two matching coaches.
