WATERCRESS Line chief executive officer Amanda Squires stood down at the end of March for personal reasons.
On social networking website LinkedIn, Ms Squires wrote: “I will be leaving the world of full-time work to better support my husband and his ongoing challenges arising from Parkinson’s Disease. Since retiring from his own career, his unstinting support has enabled me to work in some really special roles. Now, it is time to return the compliment.
“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with many inspiring and talented people over the years and I’ve had an amazing time. Thank you to family, friends, colleagues and contacts for your help, hard work, sage advice and good humour. Time to exit stage left and embrace a new and different chapter…”
