‘ED’ RE-DEDICATED: Class 73 No. E6040 (73133) was renamed The Bluebell Railway at Eastleigh Works on April 5, the electrodiesel pictured outside the works after the naming event. The loco will move to the Bluebell Railway to become part of the active fleet, in particular allowing trains to run during periods of high lineside fire risk. The ‘ED’ previously carried this name from 1990-2004.
