MODERN Electric Tramways Ltd, the registered charity which runs the SeatonTramway in East Devon, is in the process of expanding its team of directors.
Having invited applications between late August and mid-September, the company is looking to increase the knowledge, understanding and representation within its board.
As directors, the successful applicants will take on the role of trustees for the charity, alongside chief executive Jenny Nunn and the four current directors. They will play an active role in determining the future strategic direction of the organisation and will hold the position for a minimum term of three years.
The company says it is particularly keen to recruit directors with knowledge of finance and accounting, digital marketing, fundraising, rail transport and engineering and visitor or retail experience.
