PLYM Valley Railway’s (PVR) River Annan (0-6-0DH LSSH class Ruston & Hornsby 466618 of 1961), has had its red livery, carried since its AvonValley Railway days, replaced by authentic Army green with original number 429.
The first day in traffic since its superb restoration to its Army livery, was on September 3, when it led DMU LAB19 IRIS II and steam loco Albert, arriving at Marsh Mills with the 15.30 from Plym Bridge.This was the first time the Class 101 DMU had been used as hauled stock on the PVR.
