CLASS 104 DTCL No. M56182 entered service on the North Norfolk Railway on September 9. It is 36 years since it carried its last passengers, and nine-and-ahalf years of being lovingly and thoroughly restored by co-owners father and son Paul and Chris Moxon, members of the Birmingham Railcar Workgroup (RM Sept. p79).
Built by Birmingham Railway Carriage &Wagon Co in 1958, it is the last surviving Class 104 driving trailer composite. It is seen arriving atWeybourne with its first public service, the 13.36 from Holt, propelled by a Class 101 DMBS No. 51188.
