PREPARATIONS for construction of the planned new Tweeddale Heritage Railway have stepped forward with the delivery of over 30 track panels, a quantity of loose rail, fishplates and metal sleepers to the group’s storage yard.
The material has been sourced from peat lines which were operated by Messrs William Sinclair (which went into liquidation in 2015) and which is understood to have been from their lines at Ryflat and Auchencorth.
