Welcome to the 2020-2021 edition of Rolling Stock Review. Since publication of the previous edition in summer 2019, huge changes have been seen throughout the rail industry; many trains have been commissioned for operation, more new trains have been ordered and several major projects have been launched to make our railways more environmentally friendly.
Rolling Stock Review 2020-2021 covers all classes in numeric order from locos to diesel multiple and electric multiple units. Coaching stock is included, with the section enlarged to include new vehicles and extra information. Departmental stock, the Royal Train and the Eurotunnel ‘Shuttle’ locos have been included for the first time. As much detail as possible has been included covering new train orders.
