The Hound Point Terminal on the Firth of Forth saw 50 tankers dock during the six months from May to the end of November 2022: one Suezmax, two VLCCs, and 47 being Aframaxes. During the last two months of the year Aframaxes were outnumbered by Suezmax and VLCC ships, the last Suezmax, Starway, being the most interesting. Operated by Eastern Pacific
Shipping Pte Ltd, she is part of a fleet of 49 tankers, of which ten are Suezmax and 13 are Aframax.
Starway (158,000 dwt), the world’s second dual-fuel Suezmax tanker, arrived at Hound Point on 21 December 2022. Built by Guangzhou Shipyard International, China, she was commissioned two months after sistership Greenway.
