VIKING CINDERELLA The 57,505gt Viking Line vessel, built in 2013, carried her ten millionth passenger on a 1 December departure from Turku in Finland to Swedish capital Stockholm. She shares the year-round route with Viking Glory (2021/65,211gt).
MAYNE QUEEN The longserving British Columbia Ferry Services vessel has been signed off after more than half a century of operations following a final tour of Canada’s Southern Gulf islands. Built in Victoria, Canada, the 1,476gt double-ender carried almost 400 passengers with a 14- knot service speed and also had space for 58 cars. She was built in 1965 at Canada’s Victoria Yard and took power from a line-up of four Wärtsilä diesel engines.
MOBI ORLI Seen as Pride of Bilbao during eight years running from Portsmouth to Bilbao for P&O Ferries, the 37,799gt vessel, built in 1986, which recently ran as Princess Anastasia, emerged from a major upgrade at the Palumbo Shipyard in Sicily to join the Moby Line fleet.
