Three days of Suffolk sport: a tide flight on the river Alde, an enjoyable pre-Christmas dinner, a spot of stalking and a day’s pheasant shooting over pointers. It seemed an unmissable combination for BASC chairman Peter Glenser, and everything so nearly fell into place. Indeed, the bags were packed the evening beforehand when the call came through that Peter was
required in court the following morning, in Aylesbury. Such is the life of a busy barrister and sadly, the wildfowling had to be scratched.
