“The inspiration for most of my crochet patterns comes from nature, so when I was asked to take part in this Hook to Hook challenge, I was so excited! As soon as the yarn arrived, I knew the colours were absolutely perfect for making a badger. It was such an interesting yarn to work with and it gave this little critter a lovely natural finish. “Since I was featured on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas in 2020 making my Comet the Deer decoration, crochetdermy has become my crochet design niche! I was so excited to take part in this challenge, and when the wool arrived and I saw the colours, I knew they had to become a little Friesian cow.
