The Changing of RV Seasons

You may have already realized that we have scheduled a variety of destinations for this issue, including the Interior of BC, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive in addition to Yuma, AZ, and Southeastern Utah. While this is a diverse selection of places to visit, we have a few reasons for this.

The first is the upcoming fall season is a great time to continue travelling - whether it be for three to four days or quick weekend trips to your favourite campground. If September commonly signifies the time to winterize your RV, perhaps think twice. There’s still ample ‘on-the-road-time’ as northern destinations offer unique experiences this time of year before the RV parks close until next spring.

The second reason is there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel with COVID-19 restrictions. We feel it’s now just a matter of time before the U.S./Canada border locations reopen, allowing the chance to finally follow through with trips south that haven’t been possible since late 2019 and early 2020. But rather than take this editorial space to dwell on the details of these destinations, be sure to read them for yourself. We’re positive you’ll find them insightful with all the information you need to know for great experiences.

As the summer fades into fall, we encourage you to take some extra time to enjoy a few last trips, continue camping into the cooler months or begin a journey to the many snowbird hot spots while exploring all the great areas along the way. Regardless of your choice, you’ll be headed in the right direction - and for all the right reasons.
