In a world of speedy internet and cloud storage, who needs a computer anyway?

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

£1099 (EE or Vodafone only) /

Doing any kind of work on your phone is never ideal, but sometimes it’s the only kit you’ve got on you, so you might as well make sure it’s as well suited to the job as possible.

While Samsung seems to have forgotten about it, the Galaxy S10 is still capable of switching to DeX mode – a desktop-like OS activated by attaching the phone to a monitor using a USB-to-HDMI adaptor. But while that might come in handy, there are other reasons why we’ve picked out the S10.

We’ve specifically gone for the 5G version because it has a larger battery (4500mAh) and the biggest Quad HD+ screen (6.7in), so tasks you might normally complete on a laptop won’t feel quite so cramped. Plus, y’know, it’s got 5G.
