RWS Creative Still Life

Details: Join Annie Williams at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, London for a still-life workshop organised by the Royal Watercolour Society. Annie will share her painting methods with you, showing how she makes a paper collage as a background to her still-life subject, before placing objects upon it. The workshop will concentrate on the relationship between the objects and the background.

Grosvenor Museum Open Art Exhibition

Details: The Grosvenor Museum’s 12th open exhibition will take place at The Grosvenor Museum, 27 Grosvenor Street, Chester, from March 9 to June 21. Work is invited in any visual medium, except giclée prints, installation, performance or work requiring electricity. Threedimensional work is welcome, with a maximum size of 72in. (182cm) in any dimension. Up to three works may be submitted. Prizes include a first prize of £1,000; second prize of £500; third prize of £250; and Visitors’ Choice prize of £100.
