Jason Bowyer Flower Structure, oil on canvas, 311⁄2X233⁄4in (80x60cm)
To celebrate 20 years of working from his studio at the London Museum of Water and Steam, one of our editorial consultants, Jason Bowyer, is holding a special exhibition of flower paintings. Jason says: ‘Observation is of prime importance to my work. My paintings develop out of my drawings. There is a constant considered figurative/abstract interplay, a desire to find the essence of the motif whether the subject is an industrial interior, a landscape or a single flower.’
