LEWERS 'SAD' AS HE'S AXED FROM OLYMPIC PROGRAMME
Iain Lewers, the England and Great Britain defender, has admitted to being “sad and disappointed” after being axed from the men’s programme. Lewers, 32, is the first confirmed athlete to miss out on a centralised contract at Bisham Abbey for the next four-year Olympic cycle, following Team GB’s
ninth place at the Rio Games.
